Barn Hop 33

Welcome to the Monday Homestead Barn Hop! I love how so many of you start your week with a round up of ideas to cultivate the on-line homesteading community. Its amazing all the ideas and wisdom that gathers here each Monday... thank you for joining in and linking up week after week!

October is the new June, at least here on the mountain where the weather is ideal and couples get married (June is still cold; October is perfect). Ive been to three weddings this month already, keeping us busy, busy, busy on the weekends. So nothing much to report in terms of homesteading, except...

I dont have pictures yet, but the front door now has red paint! Woo hoo! Three more doors to go and some trim work that must be painted and then Ill take some photos and post them. (Knowing how fast we move around here, it could be months!).

If you dont mind, Im throwing out a little prayer request... I need to move forward on getting my little goats here with a temporary, but safe shelter and then find a breeder who is a good fit for our Kinder doe. Im suddenly overwhelmed by all this (mostly because Ive been so busy), but I need to make the time to get it done. (Did I mention how cute and sweet they are?)

So, thats whats happening here. What about at your place?
